Have you inadvertently set a non perspective view to be the render view? Make sure that View > Use as render view is enabled in the correct perspective viewport. There could be any one of a number of things happening:Ĭheck the visibility options for all objects in the scene: is anything set incorrectly? For instance, is “visible in render” turned off for any objects? (this is controlled with the two dots adjacent to the object name in the Object manager.ĭo you have lights in the scene, and/or Is autolight turned off in render options?ĭo you have compositing tags on any objects? If so, how are they set? I just learned about Team Render and have a network of two other computers which I plan to add to help the renders.īut, in the meantime, it still seems that the first few frames of the renders should be larger than 13 KB and they show the rendered screen images and not black.Īny suggestions what might be happening? Thanks! But, yet, all the rendered screens so far are showing up black in the Picture Viewer. Although the first few frames are fairly complex, they are stills. Plus the size of the PNGs are only 13 KB. After over an hour, the only images showing up in Picture Viewer are black screens with no content. I started the Render with Render to Picture Viewer on my iMac. I created the render settings including a preset Output of HDTV1080 with PNG as the output format. But I’ve read that it is better to save to a format such as PNG and collate the images after the render in a program such as After Effects with a final output as QT. The final output is going to be a QT movie. As I’ve been creating the scene, I’ve been doing Render Views successfully. It’s a fairly complex scene with some animation. I just completed my first project in C4D in R19 Studio.
